Fundraising Intern
Your Responsibilities:
Data collection and research including tracking all forms of funding sources
Draft written materials for internal and external communications and prepare mass mailings
Draft, proofread, and edit letters of intent and grant proposals
Contribute to the strategy, production, and analysis of fundraising campaigns
Assist with updating and maintaining The Climate Club donor database
Research potential donor prospects and assist with donor outreach and cultivation
Attend and actively participate in staff meetings
Required Qualifications and Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Prior experience in a non-profit setting a plus
Prior relevant coursework preferred
Creativity and initiative to follow through on projects
Effective communication and writing skills
Have interest in either one or more of the following disciplines: climate, sustainability, public health, environmental health sciences, and environmental health policy.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Can work well under tight deadlines and produce a high volume of work while maintaining desired content quality
Must work well in a culturally diverse environment

Finance Intern
Your Responsibilities:
Research grants and other fundraising possibilities
Assist with writing grant proposals
Assist in developing a sustainable financial plan for The Climate Club
Required Qualifications and Education:
BA in public health, nonprofit management, social work, or a related discipline
Passionate about working for a start-up nonprofit organization
Excellent written English communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Self-motivated, able to work independently with limited guidance, as well as part of a team
Must work well in a culturally diverse environment
Relevant experience: 0-2 years. Experience with fundraising or working for a nonprofit is preferred.
