Content Development

    • Create 2-3 original, unique, and engaging pieces of content per week based on thorough research (Topics: climate, sustainability, environmental health, policy, international relations, and mental health)

    • Help distribute content by collaborating with our social media department

    • Collaborate with members of the science team (including curriculum developers, subject matter experts, science writing editors, and project managers) to develop scientifically rich, digestible, and authentic content

    • Revise content for scientific accuracy, consistency, style, clarity, and grade-level appropriateness

    • Complete work in a timely manner to meet an agreed-upon deadline

    • Collaborate with peers and partners across the organization on relevant content and projects

    • Create 3-4 original, unique, and engaging pieces of content per week based on thorough research

    • Help distribute content by collaborating with our social media department

Development & Operations

    • Data collection and research including tracking all forms of funding sources

    • Draft written materials for internal and external communications and prepare mass mailings

    • Draft, proofread, and edit letters of intent and grant proposals

    • Contribute to the strategy, production, and analysis of fundraising campaigns

    • Assist with updating and maintaining The Climate Club donor database

    • Research potential donor prospects and assist with donor outreach and cultivation

    • Attend and actively participate in staff meetings

Marketing & Visuals

    • Create and publish posts on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter

    • Social media maintenance for social communities (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram)

    • Assist with analytics

    • Assist with other administrative and project-based work

    • Create scientific visualizations and/or illustrations for online blogs

    • Create posts and pages of online content in line with brand guidelines

    • Complete work in a timely manner to meet an agreed-upon deadline

    • Collaborate with Marketing to promote our work on the website and social networks

    • Create scientific visualizations and illustrations for online scientific blogs

    • Align curriculum resources with the Climate Club branding

    • Create infographics related to science education content for different lessons

    • Work with Science Education Lead and Science Education Intern to create accurate and relevant infographics

    • Gather information on similar online curriculum options and create new ideas based on knowledge gaps and needs that are observed
